Itineraries

Day 1

Delhi –Arrival

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport or Railway Station you will be transferred to hotels. Check in to hotel. Overnight stay would be at hotel in Delhi.

Day 2

Delhi – Local Sightseeing – Qutub Minar – World’s Largest Temple Akshardham – India Gate

After breakfast, explore the Local Sightseeing of New Delhi.

Visit Qutab Minar , a 234 foot sandstone tower built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak in memory of Sufi Saint Qutubuddin Bakhtiar Kaki. Later, visit Tomb of Emperor Humayun or Humayun's Tomb .

Then drive past the government buildings India Gate and President’s House along the broad and majestic Rajpath.

In afternoon visit Local Sightseeing of Old Delhi . See the Red Fort , a symbol of Mughal Empire. Drive past Chandni Chowk ( old shopping street) and the Jama Mosque area.

On return, visit Rajghat -memorial of the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi.

In evening visit the World’s Largest Temple Akshardham . Enjoy evening light show at Akshardham . Have dinner and overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 3

Delhi – Agra (250 KM, 5 Hrs) - Wonder of World Taj Mahal - UNESCO World Heritage Site Agra Fort

After breakfast, drive to Agra. Check in to hotel. Later, visit the Wonder of World Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 to enshrine the mortal remains of his Queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal is closed on all Fridays)

Later, visit UNESCO World Heritage Site Agra Fort dominated by red sand stone. Dinner and night stay in Agra. After Taj Mahal , visit Mausoleum of Etmad-ud-Daula .

In evening you would explore local markets of Agra and look for some souvenirs. Overnight stay would be at hotel of Agra.

Day 4

Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – (50 KM, 1 Hr) – Jaipur (250 KM, 5 Hrs) – Neemrana Fort – Shopping at Johari Bazaar

After breakfast, you will go to Jaipur . En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri . Visit Buland Darwaza at Fatehpur Sikri, Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chishti and other local sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri .

Later, drive to Jaipur. En-route visit Neemrana Fort .Continue your drive to Jaipur. Check-in to hotel. Evening is free time to enjoy the atmosphere of Pink City and enjoy shopping at famous market of Jaipur - Johari Bazaar.

Stay overnight at Jaipur.

Day 5

Jaipur – Local Sightseeing – Hawa Mahal – Jantar Mantar – Elephant Ride at Amber Fort

After Breakfast, visit for Jaipur City Tour. Start the tour with the Elephant Ride at Amber Fort followed by Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) , Jantar Mantar (Royal observatory) of Jaipur , City Palace , Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli , Jai Mahal and Ram Niwas Garden .

Dinner and nightstay at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 6

Jaipur – Ajmer – Ajmer Sahrif Dargah of Khwaza Moinuddin Chishti -

After early breakfast, drive to Ajmer . Visit Ajmer Sahrif Dargah of Khwaza Moinuddin Chishti . Have lunch in Ajmer.

After lunch we will drive to famous Pushkar City. Visit Largest Camel fair in Asia Pushkar Fair which draws tourists, pilgrims, nomads, breeders, herdsmen, farmers and traders with their caravan.

Have dinner and spend night at hotel/swiss tent.

Day 7

Pushkar – Full Day Pushkar Camel Fair – Shopping and other activities

After early breakfast, head to Pushkar Fair Ground . The whole landscape would be dotted with beautiful sand dunes. Green Oases of Rajasthan makes the beautiful background for Pushkar Fair. Whole environment would be peaceful until you reach Pushkar Fair.

After lunch we will visit famous Pushkar Fair. You can shop for local handicrafts, clothes, metal ware, souvenirs and other items of your choice from the fair.

Return to hotel/swiss tent for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8

Pushkar- Camel Fair Ground – Local Sports - Camel Riding, Pushkar Cricket, Camel Race and Tug of War

Get ready to stay at Pushkar in tented accommodation. You will visit Pushkar Fair and see all its uniqueness that would leave spell bound.

Participate in local camel fair sports . Enjoy the Camel Race, race of camels bringing articles in beautifully decorated costumes and colors.

Tug of War is another competition where foreigners and locals enjoy rope pulling.

You can also enjoy Rajasthani Folk Dances and Rajasthan Folk Songs.

Magicians and Moustache Competitions are also great attractions for which men grow their moustache for years to compete.

Day 9

Pushkar – Bathing at the Pushkar Lake Ghats – Only Brahma Temple in India

Pushkar Lake is famous as a shrine of Only Brahma Temple in India . Brahma in Hinduism is considered to be creator of earth. People take a holy dip on Kartik Purnima in Pushkar Lake.

You would also get opportunity to bath in Pushkar Lake which is considered to be holiest of all Hindu Pilgrimage Places in India .

Pushkar has 52 bathing ghats. See diversity of folks- the snake charmers, magicians, vagabonds, acrobats, mystics and all class of loiterers who come to this Pushkar Lake on Kartik Purnima.

Dinner and overnight stay at Pushkar in Swiss Tent.

Day 10

Pushkar - Ajmer – Delhi (450 KM, 8 Hrs)

After breakfast drop to Ajmer Railway Station to board train for Delhi .

Upon arrival in Delhi drop to Airport or Railway Station for onwards journey. Return with pleasant memories of Pushkar Camel Fair.
